Abstract
What you will learn:
It’s been 15 years since the last major update to National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects and its associated Technical Report Form. In June 2025, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) released proposed revisions for public comment, aiming to modernize, harmonize, and streamline disclosure requirements for mineral projects.
These updates are designed to:
– Strengthen Canada’s leadership in global mining capital markets
– Provide companies with clearer, practical disclosure standards
– Ensure investors receive consistent, comparable, and decision-useful information
– Expanded guidance in the Companion Policy also clarifies expectations for technical reports.
