Abstract What you will learn: It\u2019s been 15 years since the last major update to National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects and its associated Technical Report Form. In June 2025, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) released proposed revisions for public comment, aiming to modernize, harmonize, and streamline disclosure requirements for mineral projects.\u00a0 These updates are designed to: &#8211; Strengthen Canada\u2019s leadership in global mining capital markets&#8211; Provide companies with clearer, practical disclosure standards&#8211; Ensure investors receive consistent, comparable, and decision-useful information&#8211; Expanded guidance in the Companion Policy also clarifies expectations for technical reports. About the instructor Craig is a Senior Geologist at the Ontario Securities Commission specializing in NI 43-101 compliance reviews of prospectuses, technical reports, and other regulatory filings by mining companies.\u00a0 Prior to joining the OSC in 2006, Craig spent over 20 years in the mineral exploration and mining industry working domestically and internationally for multinational senior mining companies, including BHP and Phelps Dodge, and as VP Exploration for several junior mining companies.\u00a0 Craig is a registered Professional Geoscientist in Ontario with a B.Sc. in Earth Science from the University of Waterloo and an M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from Queen&#8217;s University.","thumbnail_url":"https:\/\/mrmr2026.cim.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Craig-Waldie.jpg","thumbnail_width":375,"thumbnail_height":375}
